At Eiland van Maurik, we believe that a holiday is more than just relaxation, it is a moment of rest, joy and quality time together. Unfortunately, for many families in the Netherlands, going on holiday is not a given.
That is why we are proud to partner with Stichting De Vakantiebank. Together, we are committed to making sure everyone can enjoy a carefree holiday and create meaningful moments together.
What is Stichting De Vakantiebank?
Stichting De Vakantiebank is a charity dedicated to supporting families living in poverty who have not been able to go on holiday for years.
With the support of holiday parks, campsites, donors and volunteers, they make this possible. As a result, at least 900 families each year are able to enjoy a one-week holiday in the Netherlands or Belgium.

What do we do?
Together with Stichting De Vakantiebank, we offer stays at our holiday park during specific periods for families who would otherwise not be able to go on holiday.
These are fully arranged holidays in a beautiful natural setting, with plenty of space for joy, relaxation and connection.
As a holiday park, we see every day what time spent relaxing in nature can do for people, from happy children to relieved parents. We believe it is important to give something back. Our partnership with De Vakantiebank reflects who we are: a place where everyone is welcome.

Who are these holidays intended for?
The holidays are intended for families in the Netherlands who live below the poverty line and who have not been on holiday for a long time. The selection and registration process is managed by Stichting De Vakantiebank.
How often does Eiland van Maurik offer holidays?
Several times a year, during pre-selected periods, we make holiday weeks available to families through De Vakantiebank. It is an ongoing partnership.
