We only collect personal data that are required for our services. These can be obtained through our website, e-mail, by telephone or in writing. Depending on the service, we may process the following data:

When you create a user account, we store the data as long as your account is active. You can request to have your account removed at any time.

During your stay, photo or video recordings may be made for promotional purposes. Your agreement to our terms and conditions will imply your consent. If you should be identifiable in the images and are opposed to this, please submit your objection to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl. We will then remove the image material in question as soon as possible.

We will only share your personal data with third parties if so required for our services (such as IT suppliers) or if we are required to do so by law. A processor agreement is concluded with all external processors to guarantee your privacy.

Your data will not be sold to third parties.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful use. For example, we use secure connections and access restrictions.

Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We store application data up to four weeks, unless you consent to a retention period of up to one year.

Our website uses functional and analytical cookies for a proper performance of the site and to improve the use of the site. We use tools such as Google Analytics, where IP addresses are anonymised and no data are shared with third parties. For marketing cookies, we ask for your prior consent through our cookie banner. Your preferences can be changed at any time through your browser settings. Cookies are stored for a limited period.

Cookies can be deleted or rejected through your browser. Please note that this may affect the website’s performance.

Our website contains links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the treatment of your personal data by such third parties. For this reason, it is advisable to always read their privacy statement.

You can book with us through our website, by phone or directly at the park. You will receive a booking confirmation within a week after your booking request. This confirmation shall constitute proof of your booking.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings if it transpires that they are not intended for recreational use or in the event of force majeure. We also reserve the right to change your booking within 28 days before departure.

Terms of payment:

• 25% of the total amount must be paid within 2 weeks after booking
• The remaining amount (75%) must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival
• For last-minute bookings: 100% must be prepaid

• iDEAL: please use the payment link on your booking confirmation

Please note: after payment by iDEAL, a DEUT bank account will be mentioned on your bank statement, which is the appropriate bank.

All rates include VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change, including government levies or VAT increases. The rates communicated at the time of booking will be the applicable rates. Any price changes will not apply to bookings already made.

We use a Fair Use Policy for energy consumption:

Any excessive consumption will be charged after the end of your stay. You can view your energy consumption in the Eiland van Maurik app.

Cancellations are handled according to the RECRON terms and conditions. When booking, you can take out a cancellation insurance and/or the rebooking scheme. By doing so, you agree to the applicable (insurance) conditions. Check out the terms and conditions below:

• The primary booker must be at least 21 years old
• Groups of friends are not allowed
• Non-recreational residence is not allowed
• Causing a nuisance may result in immediate removal from the park without a refund
• Day visitors must have left the park by 11pm. In case this rule is not complied with, the principal booker shall be held liable
• Guests are liable for their own property and damage
• Upon arrival, the staff of Holiday Park Eiland van Maurik may request a deposit of up to €350 per accommodation. For group accommodations, payment of the  standard deposit of €350 will be required.

In the event of high water or imminent high water, we reserve the right to move or cancel camping pitches or accommodations. We will find a suitable alternative solution in consultation with you.

If you have a preference for a particular pitch or accommodation, it can be booked at payment of the preference charges.

Damage or broken items must be reported to the reception or to Info Mauk and will have to be compensated. This applies to all property items of Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik and Family Entertainment Center Mauk.

Access and use

• The Family Entertainment Center is open to visitors of all ages. Children under the age of 12 must at all times be accompanied by an adult.
• The use of play equipment, arcade games and other facilities is at your own risk.
• Minimum lengths or ages may apply to certain attractions or playing areas. Our employees have the right to enforce these requirements.

Safety and instructions

• Visitors must strictly observe all directions by the staff and the instructions at the attractions.
• Running or climbing in unauthorised places or engaging in any other behaviour that poses a risk to the safety of yourself or others is not allowed.
• In the event of an emergency, you will need to follow the staff instructions at once and proceed to the designated assembly points without delay.

Liability

• Eiland van Maurik is not liable for any loss, theft or damage of personal property items.
• Visitors shall be liable for any damage they (or their minor children) cause to any equipment, property items or any other person.
• Participation in activities at the Family Entertainment Center is entirely at your own risk.

Hygiene and cleanliness

• Food and drinks must only be consumed in the designated catering establishments or seating areas.
• Visitors are asked to deposit waste in the appropriate waste bins.

Behaviour and supervision

• Aggressive behaviour, verbal or physical violence, discrimination or other undesirable behaviour shall not be tolerated. In case of infringement, access can be denied without a refund.
• Alcohol consumption in or around the Family Entertainment Center is not allowed, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the catering facility.
• The staff is at any time entitled to deny access or to remove visitors in case of misconduct or breach of the rules.

Opening hours and closure

• The Family Entertainment Center has regular opening hours. Visitors are asked to leave the play areas at least 15 minutes before closing.
• In case of force majeure (e.g. technical failures, security risks), the Family Entertainment Center can be (temporarily) closed. In this case, no refund will be paid.
