General
- What is the minimum age to make a booking?
To make a booking, you must be 21 years or older. As the park is a holiday park aimed at families and families, it is unfortunately not possible to stay with a youth group. Someone aged 21 or over must always be present on the booked camping pitch, accommodation or port site.
- Where can I find the park rules?
You can read the park rules here or in the Eiland van Maurik App under the heading park rules.
- How can I make a complaint about my stay?
How annoying that your stay was not entirely satisfactory. The team at Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik is here for you, even if you are not satisfied. You can submit your complaint by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl. We will gladly work with you to find a solution, so you can hopefully look back on your holiday with a positive feeling.
- What time can I check in and out?
We look forward to welcoming you! If you have booked accommodation, you can check in from 16:00 and enjoy your stay. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave the accommodation clean by 10:00.
Have you booked a camping pitch? Then you can set up your camping equipment from 14:00 and start enjoying your stay. On departure, we ask you to leave the pitch before 12:00.
- Can I use the park's facilities on the day of arrival and departure?
On your arrival and departure day, you are welcome all day to enjoy all the facilities the park offers.
On the day of your arrival, you can immediately use all the park's facilities, even before you have checked in. Whether you want to swim, play, rent a bike, or have a meal in the restaurant, everything is at your disposal from your arrival.
On the day of departure, you don't have to rush to leave. You are welcome all day to enjoy everything the park offers, so that your holiday ends as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
- I would like to come with a group and book a number of accommodations or camping pitches next to each other. What are the possibilities?
How nice that you want to come with a group! We can arrange group bookings on request. If you would like to book 5 or more accommodations or pitches, please feel free to email receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl. We will be happy to help you find the best solution to ensure you all stay next to each other.
At the park
- Is there silence on the park?
Yes, we apply silence on the park from 23:00 to 07:00. This includes no loud conversations, music or any other noise allowed. Motorised vehicles are also not allowed on the park during this period. The entrance to the holiday park is not accessible after 23:00. You can park your car in one of the parking lots after 23:00. In case of emergency, you can always leave the park. From 01:00 hrs, it is not allowed to wander around the park.
- Are pets allowed on the park?
Only dogs, if leashed, are welcome on our park. Other pets are not allowed on our holiday park. Dogs are not allowed in the public areas. This includes the sanitary buildings, the shop, the swimming pool and the launderette.
- Where can I park as a day visitor?
Day visitors can park in one of the general car parks. We have the following parking rates:
- Beach car park: €1.50 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of €5.
- Reception car park: €1.50 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of €5.

- Are there washing machines and/or dryers at the park?
Yes, you can use our washing machines and dryers in the main sanitary building (number 7 on the map). We have three washing machines and two dryers at your disposal here.
You can easily operate the machines and pay via the app 'Appwash'. Washing costs €6 and drying €2.50. Through the app, you can arrange payment as well as operate the machines. We hope this will make your stay even more comfortable!- Are charging points for electric cars available?
Yes, charging points for electric cars are available at the park. You can charge your car in the car park opposite reception, where six charging points are available. Charging facilities are also available at our marina.
Please note that there are no charging points at the accommodations themselves. The charging points can be used with your own charging card. We hope you have a pleasant and comfortable time at the park!
- Can I buy a gas bottle or have my gas bottle refilled or exchanged?
Yes, you can buy a gas bottle at the SPAR at the park. There is a wide choice of different propane gas bottles available. Unfortunately, it is not possible to refill or exchange gas cylinders at the SPAR. We hope you find everything you need for a comfortable stay!
- Where can I deposit my waste?
At the park you will find the waste disposal area (number 2 on the map). Here you can dispose of your household waste in bin bags in the designated containers. Glass and paper can be disposed of separately in the separate bins.
For chemical waste and bulky waste, such as groundsheets, rugs and garden chairs, we kindly ask you to take them home, as these materials may not be left in or near the containers. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the park clean and tidy!- Is there free Wi-Fi available at the park?
Yes, you have a choice between free Wi-Fi and paid premium Wi-Fi during your stay at the park. The free Wi-Fi is ideal for receiving and sending messages, reading news, and posting a Facebook message.
If you need a stronger network, for example for streaming films and series, you can opt for the premium network. A detailed explanation on how to connect can be found in the Eiland van Maurik App. We hope you have an enjoyable and connected stay!
- Where can I fish on the park or in the surrounding area?
At the park, you can fish at the pond near camping field Rozenwiel without needing a national VISpas or licence.
If you want to fish in the recreational lake, you need a national VISpas. A VISpas is compulsory for children over 14 years old and they must be accompanied by an adult with a VISpas. Fishing in the carp pit at the front of the park also requires a national VISpas.
If you want to fish at the weir complex in Maurik, you need both a national VISpas and a fishing licence from H.S.V. Het Snoekje. You can obtain this licence at reception.
Don't have a national VISpas yet? You can buy one at the Primera in Eck en Wiel. We wish you lots of fun fishing!
- Are you allowed to set off fireworks on the park?
It is not allowed to set off fireworks on the holiday park. We have no influence on fireworks set off outside the holiday park. Outside the holiday park, however, fireworks are allowed, provided they comply with local regulations.
My reservation
- What activities are included in my stay when I book a holiday?
When you book a holiday at our holiday park, all facilities and activities are included. A surcharge may apply for some facilities and activities. This will then be clearly stated when registering an activity or at the facility indicated.
- My travel party changes, I am coming with more or fewer people than originally specified. Is this possible and allowed?
If your booked accommodation or camping pitch allows you to come with more people, it is possible to book an extra person. If you are staying with fewer people than specified, you can let reception know. You can report this by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
- Someone is coming to stay, is that allowed?
How nice of you to have a guest! This is possible provided the number of persons for the accommodation or camping pitch is not exceeded. The cost for a guest on a camping pitch is €7.29 per person per night. For an accommodation you only pay the tourist tax. Your guest can use all park facilities, such as the swimming pool and the entertainment programme. You will receive all the necessary information when you register your guest.
- Are bed linen, bath linen and kitchen linen included?
When booking accommodation, bed linen is included, except for the group accommodations (Havenvilla, Havenhuis and Rivierhuis). For these accommodations, bed linen is included but will be charged at an additional rate.
Bed linen consists of a duvet cover, pillowcase and fitted sheet for the mattress. Beds are not made for you as standard, but you can add this service as an extra option during your booking, via the app, by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl, or by calling 0344-691502.
Bath towels and kitchen linen are not included as standard. If you wish to add these to your booking, you can indicate this during the booking process, via the app, or by contacting reception. The bath linen package consists of one large and one small towel, and the kitchen linen package consists of one towel and one tea towel.
- I have lost my booking confirmation. What can I do?
If you can no longer find your booking confirmation, we will be happy to help you. You can request a new confirmation by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or by calling 0344-691502. You can also find your reservation in the My Maurik environment or via the Eiland van Maurik app. We'll make sure you have all the information to hand again!
- Can I take out cancellation insurance with you?
Yes, you can take out cancellation insurance with us within 24 hours of making your booking. After this period, it is no longer possible to take out insurance with us. The conditions of the short-term cancellation insurance can be found here. Please note: the insurance is taken out with Recreatieverzekeringen. Should you need to cancel your booking, we will provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit to the insurer.
- Can I cancel my booking?
We are sorry to hear that you have to cancel your booking. You can cancel your booking free of charge within 24 hours of making it. After this period we apply the RECRON conditions for cancellations. You can find the conditions here. We are ready to help you with the cancellation.
- Can I arrive after reception closing time?
Yes, it is possible to arrive after reception closing time, provided you have paid the full travel price. If there is an outstanding amount, we cannot receive you after regular opening hours. We wish you a pleasant arrival and stay at the park!
Payment
- Can I pay on arrival?
The total travel sum must be paid before your stay. If you have booked a last-minute holiday, we ask you to pay via iDeal. If you pay using this payment method, we will receive your payment immediately. If a payment is outstanding, you should arrive within the opening hours of reception. If the payment is not made, it is not possible to arrive outside opening hours and you cannot stay that night with us.
- Should I pay the full amount when booking?
When making a reservation, we ask for a deposit of 25% of the total travel sum within two weeks. We would like to receive the remaining amount of 75% six weeks before your arrival. If you make the reservation within six weeks before your stay, we ask you to pay the full amount of 100% immediately.
- Can I pay on arrival?
The total holiday price must be paid in full before you arrive. If you have booked a last-minute holiday, we kindly ask you to pay via iDEAL so that we receive payment immediately. Should there still be an outstanding amount, please make sure you arrive within the reception opening hours to pay. Payment after opening hours is not possible and may mean that you cannot stay that night. We want to offer you a hassle-free arrival, so we recommend arranging your payment in good time.
Accommodation
- Can I park my car at my accommodation?
Your booking always includes one parking space for a car. It depends on the type of accommodation and/or camping pitch where you can park your car. On the day of arrival, you will be given more information about this.
In general, the following parking rules apply on our holiday park:
Beach cottages: parking near accommodation permitted
Harbour cottages: parking near accommodation allowed
Island lodge: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
Beach chalet: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
Beach Chalet de Luxe: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
River lodge: parking on the parking area near the beach
Tiny Beach House: parking on the parking lot at the Eksche waard
Harbour Villa: parking at the marina
Harbour House: parking at the Marina
River House: parking can be on the driveway at the entrance to the river house and/or the parking field opposite the reception
A second and any subsequent car(s) may be parked on the parking field near the beach. For each additional car you register at reception, the cost is €5 per car per night.
If you visit someone staying at the holiday park as a day guest, you have to pay the parking fee applicable at that time.- There is no accommodation number indicated on my confirmation. bill, where will I stay?
If there is no accommodation number on your confirmation, this is because we assign a number a few days before your arrival. If you want a specific accommodation number, you can request a preference booking. You can add this later. Send an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or call 0344-691502 to pass on your preference.
- Is electricity included when I book accommodation?
As of today, a consumption ceiling has been imposed. This consumption ceiling differs per type of accommodation. If your electricity consumption exceeds this ceiling, you will be billed for the extra costs later. Further information about the consumption ceiling will follow after making a booking.
- Do I have to pay a deposit for accommodation?
On arrival, Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik can ask for a deposit of up to €350,- per accommodation. For group accommodations a standard deposit of €350 applies. The deposit is refunded when the accommodation is left clean and tidy and all passes have been returned.
Camping
- There is no pitch number indicated on my confirmation/invoice, where will I stay?
If there is no pitch number on your confirmation, it means we will allocate your pitch a few days before arrival. Do you want a specific campsite number? Then you can request a preferential booking. You can add this later by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
- What are the dimensions of the pitches?
Pitches are 100 square metres on average. The exact dimensions may vary from one pitch to another.
- Is electricity included when I book a camping pitch?
A fair use policy for electricity applies when booking a pitch. Each pitch has an included limit of 8 kWh per day. If you exceed this limit, the extra costs will be invoiced later. You will receive more information about this after booking. For packages, such as the June and September package, the cost of electricity is completely exclusive and the price cap rules do not apply.
- Is there a TV connection available?
Yes, every camping pitch has a TV connection. Make sure your television receives digital signal and supports DVBT.
- Do I need a water tap spanner to tap water?
On camping field Eksche Waard and at pitches on Rozenwiel 65 to 120 you need a water tap key, available at reception for €2.50. On camping field Zomerdijk there are two water taps where no key is needed.
- What are the different camping options?
At our holiday park there are 4 different camping fields: Eksche waard, Zomerdijk, Rozenwiel and Rozenwiel pet-free. Each field has its own characteristics.
Camping field Eksche waard is a cosy field for families with (young) children. This field has various playgrounds and is car-free. Centrally located on the camping field is a sanitary building and the field is close to the facilities. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Zomerdijk is a pleasantly busy field for the entire family. This field lies next to the recreational lake and beach. There is a sanitary building on the field and the facilities are within walking distance. Numbers 1 to 4 on this field are paved pitches suitable for campers. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Rozenwiel is a quieter field located by the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the booked pitch and enjoy nature. Pitches 4 to 14 are partly paved. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.
Camping field Rozenwiel pet-free is an extension of camping field Rozenwiel. This field is quieter and is also next to the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the pitch you have booked and enjoy nature. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 people.
- Can I park my car near my pitch?
When you book a camping pitch, one car is always included in your stay. It varies per camping field whether the car can stay at the pitch. Below you can see what the parking policy is per camping field:
Eksche waard - one car can be parked at the nearby parking field on the park.
Zomerdijk - car(s) may be parked at the parking field near the beach.
Rosewheel - one car may be parked at the pitch.
Rozenwiel pet-free - one car may be parked at the pitch.If you come to the holiday park with more cars, all additional cars must be parked on the parking lot near the beach. Each additional car can be booked at a rate of €5 per car per night. You can communicate this by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
- Can I put up an extra tent?
You may place one camping device and one additional tent (of maximum 2 by 2 metres) on your pitch. Additional fees apply for an extra tent. You can report this and pay at reception. It is not allowed to put a boat or second car next to the pitch.
- What is allowed in the pond at camping field Rozenwiel?
Only fishing is allowed in the pond on the Rozenwiel camping field. Swimming, supping and boating are not allowed here.
Facilities

- I would like to rent a bike or go-kart, how do I do that?
You can rent bikes or go-karts at reception during your stay. Our facilities can be booked in advance in the app or by emailing receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
- Can I use the facilities for a fee if I am not staying at the park?
Yes, as a day visitor, you can also enjoy the activities and catering facilities in Mauk. You can book and pay for the activities in advance. Click here to book an activity.
Swimming pool
- What are the pool opening hours?

- Can I come and swim for a day for a fee if I am not staying at the park?
Yes, you can! Outside the high season, you can make a reservation online for a day of swimming, even if you are not a guest of the park. Click here to book.
- Can I keep my personal belongings safe before swimming?
Lockers are available in the swimming pool where you can store your belongings. The lockers can be used with €0.50 which will be returned to you after use.
Mauk
- Can I pay cash in Mauk?
In Mauk, you can only pay by debit or credit card. For cash payments, you can go to the Arcade Hall, where you can get tokens for the slot machines using paper money.
- Is Mauk wheelchair accessible?
Mauk is largely wheelchair accessible. However, please note that the craft theatre and Golf in the Dark are not wheelchair accessible.
- As a day visitor, can I also use the facilities in Mauk?
Yes, as a day visitor, you can also enjoy the activities and catering facilities in Mauk. You can book and pay for the activities in advance. Click here to book an activity.
- Are dogs allowed in Mauk?
In Mauk, dogs are welcome on the ground floor, provided they are leashed. Other pets are unfortunately not allowed. Dogs are not allowed on the upper floor in Mauk.
Harbor
- How can I apply for a mooring?
We have a separate website for our marina, you can find it here. On this website you will find a mooring application form.
- Can I bring a boat if I stay at a campsite or in accommodation?
It is possible to take a boat with you on your holiday. You can choose to place the boat in the water during your stay or place it on the trailer. It is not possible to place the boat near the camping pitch or accommodation. You can book an additional boat by contacting reception. - What can I book as a passer-by?
As a passer-by, you can use the marina's power facilities. You can also purchase a dayband for access to the swimming pool, Island Avontura, craft theatre and the entertainment programme. The cost is €14.95 per child per day and €7.50 per adult per day.
