General
We are a holiday park aimed at families. It is therefore not possible to stay at our park with a youth group. There must at all times be someone 21+ staying on each booked camping pitch or accommodation.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not entirely to your satisfaction. The team of Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik is there for you, even if you are not satisfied. You can submit your complaint by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl. We will gladly work with you to find a solution, so you can look back on your holiday with a positive feeling.
If you have booked an accommodation, you can enter the accommodation from 16:00 p.m.. If you have stayed in one of the accommodations, you should leave the accommodation clean before 10:00 a.m.

If you have booked a camping pitch, it is possible to use the pitch and set up your camping equipment from 14:00 p.m. On the day of departure, the pitch must be vacated before 12:00 p.m. 

It is possible to use the facilities the park has to offer all day on your arrival and departure day.
All group bookings are on request. Group bookings should be requested by e-mail to the e-mail address: receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl. Group bookings are considered with us if you want to book 5 or more accommodation/camping pitches.
At the park
Yes, we apply silence on the park from 23:00 to 07:00. This means, among other things, that no loud conversations, music or any other noise is allowed. Motorised vehicles are also not allowed on the park during this period. The entrance to the holiday park is not accessible after 23:00. You can park your car in one of the car parks after 23:00. In case of emergency, you can always leave the park. From 01:00, it is not allowed to wander around the park.
Only dogs, if kept on a leash, are welcome on our park. Other pets are not allowed on our holiday park. 

In selected accommodations it is possible to stay with a maximum of 1 dog in the accommodation. You need to book your dog when booking, you can do this under the heading ''extras to be booked''. 

On the camping fields Eksche waard, Zomerdijk and Rozenwiel you can stay with a maximum of 2 dogs. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, including on the pitch. On camping field Rozenwiel pet-free it is not allowed to stay with dogs. 
There are six car charging points in the car park opposite the reception, which can be used with your own charging card. Electric charging is also possible at our Harbour. There are no charging facilities at the accommodation.
There are three washing machines and two dryers in our main sanitary building (number 10 on the map) for your use. You can use these machines by using the app 'Appwash'. The cost for washing is €6 and €2.50 for drying. You can use the app to pay and operate the washing machines and dryers.
You can use free Wi-Fi on the park or paid premium Wi-Fi if you are staying at our holiday park. The speed and reception may differ from the Wi-Fi you are used to at home. The free Wi-Fi is suitable for receiving messages, sending messages and doing small tasks on the phone such as reading news or posting a Facebook message. If you want to use a stronger network, you can purchase the premium network. With the premium network, you can stream films and series. A detailed explanation for connecting can be found in the Eiland van Maurik app.
At the SPAR you have the option of buying a gas bottle. There is a wide selection of various propane gas bottles available. Gas bottles cannot be refilled here.
The holiday park has a waste disposal point (number 2 on the map). Here you can deposit your rubbish in rubbish bags in the designated container. Glass and paper are separated from other household waste. Chemical waste or bulky waste, such as groundsheets, rugs and garden chairs should not be left in or near the containers. You should take this waste home yourself. 
You may fish at the holiday park in at the fishpond located at camping field Rozenwiel, you do not need a Dutch VISpas or permit for this.
If you want to fish in the recreational lake you need a Dutch VISpas, this is compulsory for children over 14 years old, you do need to be accompanied by an adult who holds a Dutch VISpas. 
You also need a Dutch VISpas if you want to fish in the carp pit at the front of the park.
If you want to fish at the weir complex in Maurik, you will need the Dutch VISpas and a fishing licence from H.S.V. Het Snoekje, which is available at reception.

If you do not have a Dutch VISpas, you can purchase one from Primera in Eck en Wiel.
My booking
When you book a holiday at our holiday park, all facilities and activities are included. A surcharge may apply for some facilities and activities. This will be clearly stated when registering an activity or at the facility indicated.
If your booked accommodation or camping pitch allows you to come with more people, it is possible to book an extra person. If you are staying with fewer people than specified, you can let reception know. You can report this by sending an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
If you can no longer find your booking confirmation in the mail, you can request it again by contacting reception. You can send an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or call 0344-691502. Reception staff can often look up your booking based on the name or residential address where the booking was made. You can also always find your booking in the My Maurik environment or in the Eiland van Maurik app.
Guests are welcome on our holiday park if the maximum number of persons per pitch/accommodation is not exceeded. If you have a guest, please inform the reception. The cost for the guest is €7.28 per person per night. Your guest can also use the swimming pool; you will be given an extra pool ticket when you register.
Bed linen is included when booking accommodation. The bed linen package consists of a duvet cover, pillowcase and a fitted sheet for the mattress. The beds are not made for you as standard. However, you can book this as an extra facility when making the booking, in the app or by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.

Bath towels and kitchen linen are not included as standard when booking accommodation. If you wish to book bath towels and/or kitchen linen in addition, you can indicate this in the booking process, in the app or by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.

The bath linen package consists of one large towel and one small towel. The kitchen linen package consists of one towel and one tea towel. 
It is possible to take out cancellation insurance with us. This is possible within 24 hours of making the booking. After 24 hours it is no longer possible to take out cancellation insurance with us. The conditions of the short-term cancellation insurance you can take out with us can be found here.
We are sorry that you have to cancel your booking. You can cancel your booking free of charge within 24 hours. After 24 hours we apply the RECRON-conditions if you want to cancel your booking. You can find the conditions here
It is possible to arrive after closing time of the reception if you have paid the total travel sum. If there is an amount outstanding on the booking, it is not possible to arrive after reception opening hours. 
Payment
You can pay by IDeal or bank transfer. It is possible to access the IDeal environment via the button on the booking confirmation or invoice. You can also pay by IDeal in the My Maurik environment.

If you wish to pay the reservation by bank transfer, you can transfer the amount to NL72RABO0341160660 in the name of Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik. Please state your reservation number in the description. It takes a number of working days before the payment is processed and visible on your confirmation in the My Maurik environment.
If your booking is made within two weeks, we require a deposit of 25% of the total travel sum. The remaining amount is due 6 weeks before your arrival. If your booking is made within 6 weeks, you must pay the full amount immediately.
The total travel sum must be paid before your arrival. If you have booked a last-minute holiday, we ask you to pay via iDeal. If you pay via this payment method, we receive your payment immediately. If a payment is still outstanding, you should arrive within reception opening hours. When the payment is not made, it is not possible to arrive outside opening hours and you will not be able to stay with us that night.
Accommodation
Your booking always includes one parking space for one car. Where you can park your car depends on the type of accommodation and/or campsite. You will be given more information about this on the day of arrival. In general, the following parking rules apply on our holiday park:

-Strandhuisje: parking near accommodation permitted
- Havenhuisje: parking near accommodation allowed
- Eilandlodge: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
- Strandchalet: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
- Strandchalet de Luxe: parking on the parking area opposite the reception
- Rivierlodge: parking on the parking area near the beach
- Tiny Beach House: parking on the parking lot near the Eksche waard
- Havenvilla: parking at the marina
- Havenhuis: parking at the Marina 
- Rivierhuis: parking can be on the driveway at the entrance to the river house and/or the parking field opposite the reception

A second and any subsequent car(s) may be parked on the parking field near the beach. For each additional car you register at reception, the cost is €5 per car per night.
If you visit someone staying at the holiday park as a day guest, you will have to pay the parking fee applicable at that time.
If you have not made a preference booking, there may not be an accommodation number on your confirmation. This is because we assign an accommodation number a few days before your arrival. 
If you want to be sure of a particular accommodation number, you can make your booking a preference booking. This can also be added later. You can do this by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
As of now, a consumption cap has been imposed. This consumption ceiling varies by type of accommodation. If your electricity consumption exceeds this ceiling, you will be billed for the extra costs later. Further information about the consumption ceiling will follow after making a booking. 
Camping
At our holiday park there are 4 different camping fields: Eksche waard, Zomerdijk, Rozenwiel and Rozenwiel pet-free. Each field has its own characteristics.

Camping field Eksche waard is a cosy field for families with (young) children. This field has various playgrounds and is car-free. Centrally located on the camping field is a sanitary building and the field is close to the facilities. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.

Camping field Zomerdijk is a busy field for the whole family. This field lies next to the recreational lake and beach. There is a sanitary building on the field and the facilities are within walking distance. Numbers 1 to 4 on this field are paved pitches suitable for campers. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.

Camping field Rozenwiel is a quieter field located by the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the booked pitch and enjoy nature. Pitches 4 to 14 are partly paved. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 persons and 2 dogs.

Camping field Rozenwiel pet-free is an extension of camping field Rozenwiel. This field is quieter and is also next to the fishpond. Here you can cast a fishing line close to or at the pitch you have booked and enjoy nature. It is possible to stay here with a maximum of 6 people.
When you book a camping pitch, one car is always included in your stay. It varies per camping pitch whether the car can be parked next to the pitch. Below you can see what the parking policy is per camping field:

Eksche waard - one car can be parked at the nearby parking field on the park.
Zomerdijk - car(s) may be parked at the parking field near the beach.
Rozenwiel - one car may be parked at the pitch.
Rozenwiel pet-free - one car may be parked at the pitch.

If you come to the holiday park with more cars, all additional cars must be parked on the parking lot near the beach. Each additional car can be booked at a rate of €5 per car per night. You can communicate this by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
If you have not made a preference booking, there may not be a pitch number on your confirmation. This is because we assign a definitive pitch a few days before your arrival. 
If you want to be sure of a certain pitch, you can make your booking a preference booking. This can also be added later. You can pass this on by sending an email to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or calling 0344-691502.
The pitches are all 10x10 metres on average. This is an area of 100 square metres. The pitches at Eksche waard are 120 square metres on average.
From 2023, a consumption cap has been set per camping pitch. Per camping pitch, 8 KWh per day is included. If you go over this ceiling with electricity consumption, the extra cost will be billed to you later. Further information about the price ceiling will follow when a booking is made.

If you have made a booking with a package, the full use of electricity is exclusive and the price ceiling rules do not apply. The consumption of your stay will then be invoiced to you afterwards. 

Electricity consumption is only fully exclusive at:

- (pre)seasonal pitches
- June package
- September package

 
Yes, every camping pitch has a TV connection. Your television must have a digital signal and support DVBT.
If you book a pitch on camping fields Eksche waard or Rozenwiel, you are provided with your own water tap. You need a water tap key on pitches at Eksche waard and Rozenwiel 65 to 120. You can get this key at reception for €2.50. There are two water tap points on camping field Zomerdijk that do not require a water tap key.
The camping pitches are suitable for one camping device and one extra tent. If you want to use an extra tent, this is allowed for a fee. You must inform reception and pay for it. It is not allowed to park a boat or a second car next to the pitch.

Swimming pool

The swimming pool has lockers where you can store your belongings. The lockers can be used with €0.50 which will be returned to you after use.
Our indoor swimming pool is only accessible to guests staying overnight at our holiday park or harbour. It is not possible to use the pool if you are not staying with us.
Harbour
We have a separate website for our harbour, you can find it here. On this website you will find an application form for a berth.
It is possible to take a boat with you on your holiday. You can choose to put the boat in the water during your stay or put it on the trailer. It is not possible to place the boat near the camping pitch or accommodation. You can book an additional boat by contacting reception. You can send an e-mail to receptie@eilandvanmaurik.nl or call 0344-691502.
It is possible for passers-by to make use of the power facilities we have in the harbour. You can also book swimming pool tickets. These are €5 per person per day. If you want to make use of this, you have to book tickets for the entire stay for all persons.

It is possible for passers-by to make use of the power facilities we have in the harbour. You can also book swimming pool tickets. These are €5 per person per day. If you want to make use of this, you have to book tickets for the entire stay for all persons.
